Fit India freedom run 2020 Registration Guide: Union
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju on Friday launched the Fit India Freedom
Run through an online program in which government and private
organizations are participating.
The Union Sports Ministry is organizing this race Fit India Freedom Run across the country which will run from 15 August to 2 October.
Participants can divide their race over several days and with the help of GPS and measure their own distance traveled.
The purpose of this event is to create awareness about fitness among the people during the time of Corona. Armed organizations such as the
Border Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Central Reserve
Security Force are taking part in the race. They will be joined by
Indian Railways, CBSE, and ICSE schools. The Fitness Corporates Procam and Goki will also join it.

Apart from this, 75 lakh volunteers of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and Rashtriya Seva Yojana and Sports Authority of India trainees across the country will also be a part of this race. Rijiju while launching the Fit India Freedom Run said, “I am very happy to see so much enthusiasm for this run.
If we can make people excited for this race then it will be in line with the spirit of Independence Day. It is the aim of our Prime Minister
that the Fit India Movement should become a movement towards fitness in
the country. “
