fees on telecom technologies (Broadband, Towers, OFC) and get ready with
enhancing skills to have an opportunity in the telecom sector.
The objective of this BSNL skill development training
with the support of the Government of India under the Scheme Pandit
Deendayal Upadhyaya Sanchar Kaushal Vikas Pratishthans (PDDUSKVP), is to
supplement the telecom skill manpower creator for the growth of Telecom
Sector and to generate livelihood for the youth of the nation.
Department of Telecommunications is also preparing the main scheme
for Skill Development in the Telecom sector, and it is a huge opportunity for
BSNL to be grabbed towards enhancing the skills of the unemployed in different
domain having huge infrastructure.
At present BSNL offers free skill development training to the unemployed youth in India on three different telecom technologies
to cater to the needs of skilled manpower in providing digital
connectivity, so participants can opt for any one of the free training
as mentioned

| BROADBAND TECHNICIAN |

the candidate may have aggregate awareness in Broadband installation to
access the site, tools, cables as per guidelines and configuration of
different customer premises equipment. Comprehend and initiate the importance of reporting and recording of faults, settings configurations. Establish a connection amongst service provider gateway, CPE, and user device connectivity and tests executed. Identify, locate, and execute CPE faults, cable, and connector faults required for installation and tests for troubleshooting. |

Must comprehend and initiate the importance of report and record. |
Who can apply for BSNL free Skill development training?
The
candidates who are qualified with DEGREE / DIPLOMA / ITI / +2 / 10TH
standard are eligible to apply for BSNL free skill development training
in any city.
Where is this BSNL free telecom training available in India?
At
present, BSNL offers this free development training in Bhubaneswar,
Gazipur, Jabalpur, Kalyani, Mysore, Nagpur, Pune, Rajpura, Ranchi, and
Varanasi training centers, and soon this may extend to all
states/districts.
How to apply for BSNL Free skill development training?
Just register online at http://pddu.bsnl.co.in/registration.aspx or approach directly at the training center with photocopies of qualification certificate and Proof of Identity/Address (POI/POA).
What is the duration of BSNL free skill development training
The total duration of the training is 200 – 300 Hours, and each day having 4 to 6 hours.
How many candidates to be in a batch for the BSNL free training?
A maximum of 35 members are allowed for a batch in the free training.
Any Certification to be given for the candidates?
Successful training completed candidates will be awarded with a BSNL Certificate.
Any Placement to be provided in the telecom sector?
No, BSNL does not provide any placement or placement assistance after the completion of this free skill development training.
Can we pay any fees for training materials or any other?
No, It is a Government aided scheme under PDDUSKVP, hence no fees will be collected for training / material if any given.
