Gujarat Government announces Rs.12,000 assistance to students to buy battery operated two wheelers and Rs.48,000 subsidy to buy e-rickshaw



Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today announced the promotion of the use of battery-powered two-wheelers and three-wheelers to control air pollution in the state through a video conferencing assistance scheme.



 

 

With a target of 10,000 such government vehicles, the Gujarat government will provide a subsidy of Rs 12,000 to school students studying in Std-9 in colleges and colleges. Similarly for individual and institutional beneficiaries Rs. 88,000 will be subsidized.

 



As part of the 'Panchsheel' gift, Shri Rupani today announced five development projects to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. Lakh 0 lakh plan was also announced. The Chief Minister on the occasion presented a group prepared by the State Meteorological Department and dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, titled 'Building a Climate Resilience Gujarat - A Decade Cliff Climate Action and Future for the Future'.



As many as 10 virtual MoUs were signed today in the presence of the Chief Minister to celebrate 10 years of agitation by the Meteorological Department to mitigate the effects of climate change and increase the use of recycling by the Meteorological Department. An MoU was signed between Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Company and Sakhi Mandals to start a project for solid waste disposal management and livelihood in the area. 

 

 

An MoU was signed with Anand Agricultural University for the exploration of technologies for generating bio-gas from cow dung gas and renewable energy from agricultural waste; A MoU with the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission for research on the use of biotechnology in climate change arrests; And a MoU with the Knowledge Consortium under the Department of Education.
