To drive a motor vehicle legally in the state of Gujarat, a person must have a valid driving license. A driving license can be obtained by a person who has a learning license. Learning licenses are issued for medium passenger vehicles: This type of LL includes vehicles such as tempos and minivans used to ferry passengers.

Learning license issued for medium vehicle vehicle:


This type of LL includes vehicles such as delivery trucks, tempos used for transporting goods.

Eligibility Criteria for Obtaining Study License in Gujarat:


To obtain a learning license for a motor vehicle that does not exceed the engine capacity of Cc0 cc, the person must be over 16 years of age and consent must be obtained from his / her parents or guardians.

To obtain a learning license for a light motor vehicle, the person must be over 18 years of age.


To obtain a learning license for a commercial vehicle, the person must be over 20 years of age.
